Believe it or not, drinking fresh juice on an empty stomach, at least half an hour before a meal is the best time to drink fresh juice. This is the time when your stomach hungers for food and would digest anything that you put in there.
When drinking fresh fruit or vegetable juice, our body absorbs everything that we consume and wastes nothing. Eating something harmful on an empty stomach will also be consumed which is the main reason why we have to choose wisely.
Because of acidity, though, it is not very clever if a person drinks or eats a citrus fruit in the morning in an empty stomach; drinking it with your meal is best.
Many fruit juices contain potassium which balances sodium and lowers a person’s blood pressure. Vitamin C prevents infections, heals cuts and bruises faster, and assists the body in the absorption of iron. Lots of fruits also contain fiber which aids in digestion and controls cholesterol levels in the body.
Vegetables and fruits have thousands of antioxidants that help prevent and treat diseases. After drinking juices, the stomach should be calm and not growling which sometimes leaves you with a queasy feeling. Drinking fresh juice especially in the morning can also give us energy to last throughout the day.
