In all vegetable juice diets, it is recommended to get organic crops. This means that they are grown with less, if not none at all, pesticides or fertilizers of any type. This ensures that you are getting them thus getting the complete nutrients. If you have fresh vegetables in your electric juicers, you also get fresh juices.
But what if the closest place you can buy vegetables is a supermarket where they don’t come as organic as you want them to be? Should your vegetable juicing experience suffer?
For non-organic vegetables, you can wash them thoroughly to make sure that all pesticide remains are removed. However, the down-side to this is that since most nutrients lay just beneath the outer layer, the nutrients are also removed in washing.
Another option you might want to consider is growing your own organic garden. Yep, a garden. You grow your own carrots, beets, tomatoes and anything you want to juice. If you own your own crops, you get to see what happens and what goes on what. You can also make sure that no harmful pesticides or fertilizers that have ill-effects on the crops are present. What goes on your juicer is the freshest of the fresh. Another advantage is that you never run out of vegetables to juice. If you suddenly need one, you can just pick up your type of vegetable; put it in your vegetable juicer and juice fast.
Yes, having a garden isn’t easy. It requires your time, patience and love. But one day, all the sweat and effort will be all worth it. Its rewards are manifested in the crops that you’ll reap. The fresher the fruit; the fresher the juice. Your health juicer will definitely be put to good use.

Different juicer recipes call for a variety of fruits or vegetables. Each fruit and vegetable after juicing does not have the same residues left. Some pulps are harder to get off than others which make cleaning even the compact juicers a little bit complicated.
To ensure that your electric juicers are in top shape, always clean them right after using.
Right after using, unplug the juicer. Remove the parts of your juicer one by one. Then, discard the pulps that are still inside. Rinse all the parts of the juicer. This is to remove any food particles that have managed to stick. If you do this right after juicing, the food particles haven’t tried yet which means they are easier to remove. Wash and scrub the filters or sieves well. After which, wash the pieces with soap and use a sponge in doing so. You can dry the pieces with a towel or just set them out to dry naturally.
Lastly, wash the base of the juicer.
Taking care of your juicers is essential for them to have a longer life span. The better you take care of your juicers, the longer you’ll get to use them. Even if you have the best juicer in town but don’t know how to take care of it is still of no use. You won’t get to maximize its full potential. Juicers, like any other thing, needs to be looked out for and taken care of so it can provide you with fresh juices that are rich in vitamins and vital nutrients for our bodies.
